I have driven the same route for 9 years (middle school, high school, all of my jobs), and every time I am surprised by the magnificence of that view. Now that I live in the East bay during the week and do not drive my car along these familiar streets, the view is an even bigger burst of surprise. I can drive these streets with my eyes closed. Sometimes I speed through the narrow Club dr. road just because I can. Sometimes I drive really slow, pissing off all the other cars, just to take a minute longer with that view.

the city of good living
The view by my house is amazing. I love standing there on that Crestview hill, looking out at the lights and the cars that look like insects running through the maze of streets. It is the peninsula, and I stand there looking at the bay that people are so proud to call their home. Make fun of those "bay" enthusiasts that call themselves gangsters as much as you want, they have a point - it truly is a beautiful place. I am not going to get '650' tattooed across my chest, but I will definitely "rep" the bay nonstop. I could stand there for hours just marveling at the place where I have spent the majority of my life.

Concrete Soundtrack
My heels are clicking against the cement. I own the cracks. Nothing can stop me.
Sometimes I walk around this strange city to a special rhythm. When I have a certain song pounding in my ears I am invincible. Who doesn't have a soundtrack to their life? For me it is a different one everyday. No matter what, the music sets my pace and I am happy for the moment. The world is moving around me but I am not part of the commotion. I am in my own world. I create my own reality as I move through space.
What made me feel alive today?
Smashing Pumpkins - Bullet With Butterfly Wings

despite all my rage I'm still just a rat in a cage.

Megan Fox on NYLON October
This month's NYLON features cover girl Megan Fox. One of the highlights of my month is peaking into my less than popular mailbox and seeing the beautifull glossiness that is NYLON!
ENJOY!

I am very excited for this issue, people can say what they want about Megan Fox - she's still beautiful and interesting to watch.

Jennifer's Body
So I just saw Jennifer's Body and it was just OKAY. Yes Megan Fox looked hot.. and yes she did kill people... while looking hot. Amanda Seyfried was great in it. I think she really needs to get more roles she is a great actress. The movie was a bit frightening at parts (I am a scaredy cat) and I also got a few laughs in. Also, seeing Adam Brody not being an innocent nice boy was kind of awkward in my opinion. The plot isn't too great but it is entertaining at most.
My favorite part (apart from the sassy one-liners) was the soundtrack which included Florence and the Machine, Silversun Pickups, Hole, Cobra Starship,Celestial Crown, and bunches more.
Here is the trailer:
